DeMaio Design Group is a full service Architecture firm specializing in single family residential. We see design and architecture as being a transformative tool to enhance our daily lives and inspire us to live well. Architecture is more than just four walls, it is a memory, a feeling and a sense of place. We are committed to helping our clients realize their vision of home and recognize that each project is a unique undertaking full of different opportunities and challenges.

 NICK DEMAIO -  AIA , NCARB

Nick brings a wide range of experience in both residential and commercial Architecture to the practice. As a Darien native, he has developed a deep rooted understanding of Fairfield county and its unique housing market. This local insight helps produce responsive and engaging design solutions.

Growing up on the New England coast line, Nick developed a love and appreciation for the historic waterfront vernacular of seaside towns. This timeless aesthetic and sense of place drives his approach to architecture and design.

Nick earned his Masters Degree in Architecture from Cornell University. Prior to that he graduated magna cum laude from New York Institute of Technology with a Bachelors Degree in Architectural Engineering. Nick is a licensed Architect in Connecticut and an active member of the American Institute of Architects.
